Lima, NY—As the Lima Christian School Board continues its search for the school’s next principal, it would like to provide our community with an update concerning the process.
Jason J. McGuire, chairman of the Board, shared the following remarks:
“In January, we asked those affiliated with Lima Christian to share this employment opportunity with those in their circles of influence. We are appreciative of those who have done so. The recommendations and related postings resulted in eleven different candidates applying for the position. Those candidates drew from not only New York, but also other states and even internationally with our near neighbor to the north, Canada.”
“With the end of February, the application window closed. The Board has reviewed all submitted applications and determined that two candidates will be extended a formal interview in consideration of the position. Initial conversations with those candidates have already begun.”
“We remain on target to make an announcement regarding the principal choice in May 2022.”
“The Board is grateful for the Lord’s provision of multiple candidates for our consideration and continues to seek God’s guidance for this strategic position and the future of Lima Christian School.”
