Seussical: the Musical is a whimsical and fun musical dramatization of Dr. Seuss’s popular children’s books. The musical weaves together various stories and characters from Dr. Seuss’s books, primarily focusing on Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing a tiny civilization called Whoville. Horton vows to protect the Whos, even though he faces ridicule from the other animals in the Jungle of Nool. The musical also follows the adventures of other famous Seuss characters like the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie LaBird, and more.
Celebrating the joy of childhood and the power of imagination, the musical explores themes of friendship, loyalty, perseverance, and kindness. Its fun stories, energetic characters, and catchy songs will appeal to both young and old alike.

Run time: approximately 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission​

Tickets: $6 for students, $8 for adults and can be purchased online at https://seatyourself.biz/limachristian, at the school office, and at the door (cash or check only at the office & door). ​​​

Cast members will also be celebrating Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday at Milk and Honey Café in Lima on Saturday, March 2 with a Meet & Greet with the cast from 2-4 pm! Cast members will be on hand to read books to children, interact with customers, sign autographs, take pictures, and more! Come celebrate Read Across America with us!

How to Join

We are always looking for people who enjoy theatre and want to be part of the Drama Club. 

Notices of auditions are posted on the Drama Club Callboard in the upper school hallway. In addition to actors, we also need volunteers to help.

Participating in the Drama Club is a lot of fun and a wonderful way to be part of the LCS community. Contact Mrs. Warsaw if you would like to get involved.

Sponsorship

We have two different levels of sponsorship: Patron and Supporter.

Patron: $350 – Includes your business name displayed on a poster in our lobby, two tickets to a performance, and a full-page advertisement in our program.

Supporter: Includes an ad in our program. $100 (Full-page), $75 (Half-page), $50 (Quarter-page).
