Luke Lepkowski, the son of Gwen and Paul Lepkowski, is valedictorian in the Class of 2021 at Lima Christian School.

Luke will attend Rochester Institute of Technology to study computer science. At Lima, he was on the Tech Team, which sets up microphones and projection for Friday chapels and school events.

Among his favorite high school memories is “the times that my class played volleyball in gym class together,” he said.

Luke’s advice for underclassmen is to “look for the positive, even if you have to squint your eyes a little.”

The Class of 2021 salutatorian at Lima Christian School is Isaac Settle, who will also be attending Rochester Institute of Technology. Isaac, the son of Aaron and Trina Settle, will study computing and information technology.

Isaac was involved in varsity soccer, Masterminds, National Honor Society and was a Tech Team leader.

He says the community at Lima Christian provides his favorite high school memory.

“Everyone is extremely loving and all the staff is caring and understanding,” Isaac says. “The memory of the LCS community is something that I will never forget.”

For underclassmen, Isaac says the best advice that he can give is “to just learn how to be positive.”

“By maintaining a positive attitude throughout all of your actions, it enables you to live a fuller life and keeps you joyful. Proverbs 17:22,” he says.
