Every hour making disciples
The average student spends over 15,000 hours in school from kindergarten through 12th grade. That’s more waking time than most families spend together. At Lima Christian School, every learning experience is designed with intentional purpose: developing students as disciples of Jesus Christ. Here, your family’s values matter. You’ll find an unapologetically Christ-centered education that partners with you, protects childhood, and supports what you’re teaching at home.
Let’s make every hour count, together.

What student support services are available?
Academic Support
Students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are provided services through the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District. For preschoolers, integrated support services are coordinated through the county, which HFL oversees. For school-aged students, the district has assigned a full-time special education teacher and paraeducator at Lima Christian School to meet each student’s needs and coordinate related services. These services are integrated into students’ class schedules according to their IEP. Students with 504 plans work with our full-time 504 coordinator, who also serves as our reading and math specialist. For most students, this means daily support, though the specific accommodations vary based on individual needs.
Social and Emotional Support
Our part-time school counselor is available to help students develop social-emotional skills and navigate challenging moments. She collaborates with teachers to support student growth and can coordinate with outside providers or offer referrals when families need additional resources. In addition to counseling services, students receive guidance and care through pastors of Crossroads Church, further integrating faith with their emotional well-being.
Guidance and Planning
High school students can meet with our academic coordinator to explore their futures, whether that includes college, vocational training, or career paths. We are here to help students discover the next steps that fit their goals and calling.

Meet the Disciple-Making Educators
It matters who is investing in your child. What happens at school should reinforce what you teach at home, from character development to faith formation. At LCS, your student will learn from qualified educators who are passionate disciple-makers, investing their time and hearts every day to guide students’ spiritual growth alongside academic achievement.
Accreditation
Lima Christian School is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Accreditation is a peer-review process that measures school performance against specific standards of excellence. This accreditation demonstrates LCS’s unwavering commitment to providing your child with an education you can trust that is both academically excellent and rooted in biblical truth.
